Our Story

We bring the food, you bring the appetite.

We bring the food, you bring the appetite.

Hi everyone, my name is Lerone Mullin, and I am the proud owner of The Jerk Grill. I want to take a moment to share a bit about myself and my journey with you all.

Food has always been my passion, and I've always loved experimenting with different recipes and ingredients. After a few dead-end jobs that just weren't fulfilling my need for growth and creativity, I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own business.

I started small, with just a bit of equipment and the necessary permits to sell street food. The first year was rough, and I often doubted whether anyone would like the food I was serving. But through hard work and perseverance, I was able to save enough money to eventually open The Jerk Grill in January of 2022. It's been an amazing experience, and I'm so grateful to everyone who has supported me along the way.

One of the most frequently asked questions I get is whether my food is traditional Caribbean cuisine. The answer is both yes and no. While the food I serve is indeed traditional, I also make an effort to present it in a way that is familiar to the audience. Many of my customers are not as familiar with Caribbean food, so I strive to make it accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

At the moment, The Jerk Grill is my only restaurant, but my goal is to develop the necessary systems and processes to eventually scale the business. I'm working hard to build a business model that is resource-efficient and minimizes burden.

I'm so grateful for the continued support of all my customers, and I look forward to serving you all for years to come. Please stop by and say hello! Thank you again for being a part of my journey, and I hope to see you soon at The Jerk Grill!
